This paper work will cover you for ALL SPORTS for the entire SCHOOL YEAR!

****STEPS 1-5 must be completed BEFORE you can PRACTICE with the team****
1. READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!! Seriously! Don't skip steps!!
2. Athletes AND Parents - Read and digitally sign the Athlete & Parent Team Contract
--This is a digital signature form. Follow the instructions and fill out all sections carefully!!
3. Get a Physical Exam done (any doctor is fine ... Doctor's Care on Folly Rd. is usually VERY cheap!). *** MUST be done on or AFTER April 1, 2025 ***
**Make sure it is on OUR physical form
4. Sign up for an account on www.PlanetHS.com
**ATHLETES must sign up and complete ALL SEVEN sections in the Athletic Forms link
Make sure you select "James Island Charter High" as your school!!
Make sure you select "CROSS COUNTRY" as your sport!!
--After you get logged in (and linked to your parent's account), click on "Athletic Forms" and scroll the the bottom.
**PARENTS must also sign up, link to your child's account, AND complete ALL SEVEN sections in the Athletic Forms link

5. On www.PlanetHS.com , in the "Athletic Forms" link, make sure you...
**Upload your completed Physical Exam Form (the page the doctor filled out and signed)
**Upload your Birth Certificate
(You can scan OR take a picture with your phone to submit each item)
-->THEN....make sure that ALL SEVEN FORMS show "Pending Staff Approval" as their status!!
NOTE: The High School must confirm your PlanetHS paperwork BEFORE you can practice with the team!
(This can take a few days, so get this done ASAP!!!)
****DO NOT complete Step 6 until AFTER July 1, 2025****
6. Pay your TWO required Athletic Fees online: https://jamesislandhigh.revtrak.net/
You must pay your $48 ATHLETIC INSURANCE FEE and your $50 ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION FEE
--Create an account
--Click on Athletics
--Click on Insurance and pay the $48 fee (Make sure you select "25-26" for the year AND type "Cross Country" so they'll know your sport!!!)
--Click on Participation and pay the $50 fee **see the NOTE below if you are on free/reduced lunch**
-->Email Coach Lee your confirmation receipt
**NOTE: Athletic Insurance is required for ALL athletes in Charleston County. ONLINE PAYMENT ONLY!
The Athletic Participation Fee is lowered/waived IF you are on reduced/free lunch status.
If you are on reduced/free lunch, then Email Coach Lee.
7. Get signed up to join our Team Facebook AND Team Instragram pages
Search "James Island Cross Country" on Facebook
Search "trojans_track_xc" on Instagram
8. Get excited!! It's GO TIME!!! :)
